Mision /Mission

The Hispanic Community Coordinating Committee of Christ the King Parish focuses on creating an environment where all parishoners can actively participate, live, and grow in their Catholic faith, and above all, experience God’s love both as a community and in a personal way, while maintaining the culture and traditions of popular faith expressed by the Hispanic community.

El Comité Coordinador de la comunidad Hispana de Parroquia Cristo Rey, se enfoca en crear un ambiente donde todos los feligreses de la parroquia puedan activamente participar, vivir y crecer en su fe Católica y sobretodo, experimentar de una manera personal y comunitaria el amor de Dios, mientras mantenemos viva la cultura y las tradiciones de la fe popular Hispana.

 

Visión/Vision:

Organize and offer spiritual, uplifting, educational and missionary activities that form and evangelize God’s people within the parish. Create a united, vibrant and joyous community of faith committed to service of all of God’s children. In addition, the Committee works to ensure that each ministry within the Hispanic community and every volunteer has the tools, both material and spiritual, needed to effectively achieve through their service, the collective mission of the parish.

Organizar y ofrecer actividades espirituales, edificantes, educacionales y misioneras que forman y evangelizan al pueblo de Dios, dentro y fuera de la parroquia. Crear una comunidad de fe unida, viva alegre y comprometida al servicio hacia todos los hijos de Dios. También el Comité trabaja para asegurar que cada ministerio de la parroquia, y cada servidor, tenga las herramientas necesarias, materiales como espirituales, para llevar a cabo eficazmente la misión colectiva de la parroquia a través del servicio.

 

Descripción/Description:

The Hispanic Community Coordinating Committee consists of a Chair, Co-Chair, Secretary and 2 spokespersons as well as the Chair and Co-Chair of each ministry within the Hispanic Community of Christ the King Parish. The Committee meets every second Monday of the month.

The Hispanic Community Coordinating Committee is comprised of a Chair, Co-Chair and Secretary, who work together with the chairs and sub-chairs of each ministry within the Parish’s Hispanic Community.

El Comité Coordinador de la Comunidad Hispana consiste de un Coordinador, un Sub-coordinador, Secretaria(o) y 2 vocales, juntos con los Coordinadores y Sub-Coordinadores de cada ministerio de la comunidad Hispana de la parroquia. El Comité se reúne el segundo lunes de cada mes.
