Hispanic Community Ministries of Christ the King Catholic Church

 

Lectores: El Ministerio de Lectores consiste en proclamar la Palabra de Dios, o más bien permitir a Dios hablar a la Asamblea Eucarística a través de uno. Cuando se proclama, la Palabra de Dios cobra vida, y es la misión de dejar que cobre vida en uno para que pueda hacerlo en la comunidad entera. Como ministro de la Palabra de Dios, el Lector dirige oficialmente a otras personas hacia Dios. Tiene la responsabilidad de colocar a la asamblea en disposición de escuchar la Palabra de Dios para entender lo que el Señor quiere transmitir a través de Su Palabra.

Lectors: Lectors proclaim the Word of God, or in other words, allow God to speak to the faithful through them. When the Lector proclaims, the Word of God comes to life, and it is the mission of the Lector to allow the Word to live within them so that it can come alive in the community. As ministers of the Word of God, the Lector officially leads others to God. They have the responsibility of bringing the assembly into the disposition of listening to the Word of God in order to understand what the Lord wants to say through His Word.

Ministros Extraordinarios de la Sagrada Comunión: Los Ministros Extraordinarios de la Sagrada Comunión son llamados a asistir al Clero ordenado de la Parroquia de Cristo Rey en la distribución del Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo durante las misas y otras celebraciones Eucarísticas. Ministros Extraordinarios de la Sagrada Comunión también le sirven a la comunidad de fe fuera de la parroquia, distribuyendo el Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo y proclamando el Evangelio de nuestro Señor a los que no pueden asistir a la Santa Eucaristía porque no pueden salir de sus hogares, están hospitalizados, o están muy enfermos para asistir.

Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist: Are called to assist ordained ministers of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ during mass and other Eucharistic celebrations. Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist also serve the faith community outside of the parish by distributing the Body and Blood of Christ and proclaiming the Gospel of Our Lord to those who are not able to attend the Holy Eucharist because they are home-bound, hospitalized or too ill to attend.

Servidores del Altar: El ministerio de Monaguillos, o Servidores del Altar, consiste de niños y niñas que ya han recibido el sacramento de la Comunión Ellos asisten al sacerdote en el transcurso de la misa y otras celebraciones litúrgicas. Los Monaguillos acompañan al sacerdote en procesión al inicio y al final de la misa o en celebraciones especiales, reciben las ofrendas, ayudan a preparar el altar para la Consagración, manejan el incienso, entre otras funciones.

Alter Servers: Alter Servers are boys and girls who have received the Sacrament of Holy Communion. They assist the priest during the mass as well as other liturgical celebrations. Alter Servers accompany the priest in the procession at the beginning of mass and at the end. They receive the offerings of bread and wine, help prepare the altar for Consecration, manage the incense among other functions.

Ujieres: El Ministerio de Ujieres se preocupa por asegurar que los fieles que llegan a la misa, o cualquier otra actividad de la comunidad, se sientan bienvenidos, incluidos y aceptados en la comunidad, y sobre todo que reciban el Amor de Cristo. El Ujier también tiene la responsabilidad de distribuir los misales o cualquier otra información que sea de importancia para el pueblo, como el boletín parroquial y anuncios de las actividades de la parroquia. Además, el Ujier se responsabiliza de colectar las ofrendas durante la misa y dirigir el orden de la comunión. Otra responsabilidad de los Ujieres es de ayudar a acomodar, ambientar, limpiar y recoger antes y después de muchas de la actividades de la comunidad.

Ushers: Ushers ensure that the faithful who come to mass, or any other community event, feel welcome, included and accepted in the community, and above all, receive the love of Christ. Ushers also have the responsibility of distributing missals or any other material that people may need, such as the church bulletin and special announcements and flyers. In addition, Ushers are responsible for collecting offerings during the mass and guiding the order of communion. Another responsibility of the Ushers is to help set up, take down, chairs and other materials used during mass and other community events.

Ministerio de Música: La comunidad Hispana de la Parroquia de Cristo Rey tiene la bendición de contar con 4 ministerios de música “Los Changoleones de Cristo”, “Rostro Del Amor”, “Granito de Mostaza” and “Restauracion”. Estos grupos avivan al pueblo durante las misas y diferentes actividades de la Parroquia con sus cantos de alabanza, adoración y acción de gracias.

Music Ministries: The Hispanic Community of Christ the King is blessed to have 4 music ministries, “Los Changoleones de Cristo”, “Rostro del Amor”, “Granito de Mostaza” and “Restauracion”. These groups liven up the faithful, during mass and other community activities, with music of praise, adoration and thanksgiving.

Grupo de Oración: La oración es el Corazon de la comunidad. El Grupo de Oracion ofrece oportunidades para que cada persona que asiste a sus actividades experimente un encuentro personal con Jesús. El grupo ofrece asambleas comunitarias una vez al mes, retiros espirituales como Vida en el Espirito, el Santo Rosario con los niños, entre otras actividades donde el enfoque es la oración y la evangelización. El grupo de oración también trabaja en conjunto con la Renovación Carismática de la Arquidiócesis de Baltimore para ayudar y apoyar actividades como los retiros de Hombres, Mujeres, Jovenes y Familias, Misas de Sanación y el Encuentro Católico.

Prayer Group: Prayer is the Heart of the community. The Prayer Group offers many opportunities for each person who attends their activities to have a personal encounter with Jesus Crist. The group offers Community Assemblies once a moth, spiritual retreats such as “Life in the Spirit”, and Prayer of the Holy Rosary with children, among other activities in which the focus is prayer and evangelization. The Prayer group also works side by side with The Baltimore Archdiocese’s Charismatic Catholic Renewal to help and support activities such as Women’s, Men’s, Youth and Family retreats, Healing Masses and the Catholic Encounter, held every July.

Ministerio de Parejas: El propósito del Ministerio de Parejas es evangelizar a través de la Palabra y el testimonio personal y conyugal de parejas, con el propósito de construir matrimonios fuertes, saludables y para toda la vida.

Couples Ministry: The mission of the Couples Ministry is to evangelize couples and families through the Word of God and through personal testimonials. The goal is to create strong and healthy marriages that last a lifetime.

Preparación de Parejas: Este ministerio ayuda y apoya a las parejas quienes van a recibir el Sacramento del Matrimonio, asegurando que Cristo sea la figura central en su vida matrimonial. El ministerio consiste de matrimonios que dan testimonio de vida en su matrimonio.

Marriage Preparation: This ministry prepares and supports couples who wish to receive the Sacrament of Marriage, ensuring that Christ becomes the central figure in their married life. This ministry is run by couples who are able to give life witness and serve as an example of Christian marriage to others.

Grupo de Jóvenes “Jóvenes en Cristo”: (NO ACTIVO) El grupo de jóvenes se propone a ofrecer un ambiente sano y espiritual a todos los jóvenes de la comunidad. Se enfoca en evangelizar a los jóvenes y darles la oportunidad de conocer y tener un encuentro personal con Dios a través de la Palabra, la oración, la alabanza y el servicio a Dios y a la comunidad. El grupo de jóvenes está abierto a personas de 18 años para arriba.

Youth Group (Youth in Christ) (NOT ACTIVE): The youth group strives to offer a healthy and spiritual environment for all the community’s youth. The group focuses on evangelizing youth and providing them the opportunity to learn and experience a personal encounter with God, through His Word, prayer, praise and service to God and the community. The group is open to those over 18 years of age.

Escuela de Evangelización San Andrés: La Escuela de Evangelización San Andrés es parte de un conjunto de Escuelas en el mundo que comparten visión, metodología y programa de formación. La Escuela ofrece un programa de retiros y cursos que ayudan a capacitar a las personas para que puedan conocer más de nuestra Fe y tener un encuentro personal con Jesús. La escuela prepara a las personas para evangelizar, servir y traer a otros a los pies de Cristo. ma de formación.

Partimos de la gran comisión confiada por el Señor Jesús a sus discípulos: “Vayan por todo el mundo y proclamen la Buena Nueva
a toda la creación”: Mc 16,15

Llevamos el nombre del apóstol Andrés porque expresa nuestra misión: Llevar “Pedros” a Jesús que sirvan, prediquen y amen al Señor Jesús más y mejor que nosotros mismos (Jn 1,41-42), siendo “Testigos audaces del mensaje salvífico del Redentor”, para “fomentar y mantener la unidad eclesial como testimonio ante los demás”.

Fundadas en 1980 por José H. Prado Flores (laico católico), el P. Salvador Carrillo Alday y Bill Finke (pastor pentecostal). En 2010, celebramos el XXX Aniversario de las Escuelas San Andrés.

La Escuela de Evangelización San Andrés cuenta con la aprobación del Emmo. Sr. Cardenal Juan Sandoval Íñiguez, Arzobispo de Guadalajara, México, quien en 1999 nombró al P. Luis Alfonso Zepeda Martín del Campo como Asesor Eclesiástico, así como del Episcopado Mexicano.

En 2012, José H. Prado Flores, fue invitado personalmente por S.S. Benedicto XVI para participar en el Sínodo de Obispos realizado en el Vaticano. Esta es una confirmación de la misión evangelizadora de la Escuela San Andrés.

Se ha iniciado el proceso para obtener una aprobación Pontificia de las Escuelas de Evangelización San Andrés.misión: Llevar “Pedros” a Jesús que sirvan, prediquen y amen al Señor Jesús más y mejor que nosotros mismos (Jn 1,41-42), siendo “Testigos audaces del mensaje salvífico del Redentor”, para “fomentar y mantener la unidad eclesial como testimonio ante los demás”.La misión de la Escuela es llevar “Pedros” a Jesús que sirvan, prediquen y amen al Señor Jesús más y mejor que nosotros mismos (Jn 1, 41-42), siendo “Testigos audaces del mensaje salvífico del Redentor”, para fomentar y mantener la unidad eclesial como testimonio ante los demás.

St. Andrew School of Evangelization: The St. Andrew School of Evangelization is part of a larger community of schools from around the world who share a vision, methodology and formation program. The School offers a series of retreats/courses that help prepare people to learn more about their faith and to have a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. The school prepares people to evangelize, serve and bring others to Christ. The mission of the school is to take “Peters” to Jesus, to serve, preach, and love Christ our Lord more and better than ourselves (Jn 1: 41-42), by being “daring witness of the saving message of our Lord” and promote and maintain unity as a testimony to others.

(Sacramentos) Preparación de Bautismo: Este ministerio a través de una serie de charlas, prepara padres y padrinos para que sus hijos y ahijados puedan y recibir plenamente el Sacramento del Bautismo.

(Sacraments) Baptism preparation: This ministry, through a series of talks, prepares parents and God parents to fully understand and embrace the Sacrament of Baptism which they have requested for their children.

R.I.C.A (Rito de Iniciación Cristiana para Adultos): Este programa prepara a las personas que desean entrar a la Iglesia Católica o a los quienes no han recibido algunos de los Sacramentos para que puedan recibir los Sacramentos de Bautizo, Eucaristía o Confirmación. El programa de R.I.C.A consiste de un periodo de instrucción, discernimiento y compañerismo conducidas por maestros preparados para la enseñanza de la religión Católica. Clases se presentan en inglés y en español.

RCIA: This program prepares people who desire to be an active part of the Catholic Church, or those who could not receive the Sacraments of Babtism, Holy Communion and/or Confirmation during the established timeframe. This program gives participants the opportunity to receive instruction, discernment and companionship and is offered by instructors prepared to teach about the Catholic faith. Classes are given in English and Spanish.

Ministerio Social (NEW)-El Ministerio Social sirve a nuestra comunidad Hispana a travez de informacion y recursos en el ambito educacional, familiar, salud y cualquier otro ambito que se relacione al beneficio directo de nuestros hermanos que asisten a nuestra iglesia. El objetivo del ministerio social es poder ser un intermediario entre nuestra comunidad Hispana y el contorno externo con el fin de disminuir las necesidades y poder aumentar la calidad de vida de nuestros hermanos.

Social Ministry (NEW): The Social Ministry serves the Hispanic community through information and resources in the educational, family, health and any other fields that may benefit our Hispanic community who attend our church. The objective of the social ministry is to be able to be an intermediary between our Hispanic Community and the external contour in order to diminish the needs and to increase the quality of life our community.
